B40-8L Comp + 6.7:1 Kv 3470 gearbox is specially designed for F3J, F3B, purpose-built gliders or light thermal models up to 4m and up to 3.0kg take-off weight.
The integrated high-performance fan optimally cools the motors of the B40-Competition. The running noise is also minimised by asymmetrically arranged air outlet holes. The external housing design with milled cooling grooves offers perfect heat dissipation with minimum weight.
The B40-Competition motors are equipped with segmented high-performance rotors made of optimised magnetic material.
The B40-Competition has larger ball bearings than its predecessor, the Hacker B40. This significantly reduces friction and optimises longevity. In addition, a stronger inner shaft with a diameter of 5 mm prevents vibrations at extreme speeds. The front and rear end shields are bolted together. The shaft is fitted with an integrated pinion. The increased power output of the B40 Competition motors is ensured by a high-performance gearbox with a 6 mm shaft.
