Para-RC Cloud 0.5 backpack set ARF (red)
Product description and features
Have you ever flown an RC paraglider or are you thinking about getting one?
Remote-controlled paragliders, also known as RC paragliders, are fascinating models that mimic the flight of a real paraglider in miniature.
These models consist of a paraglider and a gondola equipped with a drive unit (motor, speed controller and propeller). The pilot controls the paraglider with a remote control, similar to other remote-controlled aircraft. The Cloud 0.5 is very stable and can withstand a lot. It is ideal for practising new manoeuvres or simply learning to fly a paraglider. I would like to issue a small warning at this point. Paragliding can be addictive, so please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
What makes our Para-RC Cloud 0.5 backpack ARF so interesting?
Ideal for beginners
RC paragliders are often easier to fly than other remote-controlled model aircraft because they are slower and more stable in the air. Beginners will love the easy launch and slow flight characteristics, while recreational and leisure pilots will enjoy the versatile flight characteristics on slopes, in thermals and with a motor at the model airfield or on camping holidays. Professional and acro pilots will appreciate the wide weight range and the brilliant launch and flight characteristics with maximum safety even in the most severe flying conditions. They can rely on the stability of the glider and concentrate fully on flying.
Wide range of applications
The Cloud 0.5 can be flown indoors in the gym during winter, but also outdoors when there is little wind. The fully assembled set has afterglow lighting, so you can enjoy a relaxing evening at a flying event or after work. The motorisation enables acrobatic paragliding and aerobatic manoeuvres such as loops, steep spirals, spins/helicopters and agile flying.
Realistic flight experience and fun factor
By realistically replicating the flight behaviour of a real paraglider, RC paragliders offer an authentic flying experience. RC paragliders offer a fascinating and realistic flying experience that is very close to real paragliding. An RC paraglider is controlled like a real paraglider.
The most frequently asked questions
Which LiPo battery is required for flying?
A 3S Lipo with 1800 to 2400 mAH is sufficient for approx. 30 minutes of flight time.
Do I need a Para-RC mix?
Many remote controls have Para-RC Mix functions. Simply google Para Mix and transmitter type. In most cases, model memory or instructions are already available.
Why is my backpack shaking?
In most cases, pilots try to compensate for the oscillation by countersteering. This transfers even more energy. Simply hold the control stick down 2-3 mm at all times. Alternatively, simply do not steer.
How much gas at start?
About half throttle
Do I need a charger?
Yes, you can find it under Accessories.
Does the set have lighting?
Yes, the mounted LED lighting set illuminates both the underside of the canopy and the propeller ring, ensuring a beautiful flight pattern even at dusk.
Almost ready to fly (ARF)
The set includes the fully assembled model with drive and all servos, as well as the pre-adjusted canopy.
All you need is a transmitter (e.g. Handheld transmitter DS-12), a receiver (e.g. JETI Duplex 2.4EX Receiver R4H), a charger (e.g. ABSIMA Lipo charger LC-2.0) and a 3S LiPo-battery (see accessories).
Here you will find our YouTube video, which shows you step by step how to get the Para-RC Cloud 0.5 Backpack Set ARF ready to fly.
